As a rare anomaly, jugular venous phelebectasia (JVF) identifies fuzzy form dilatation or isolated saccular aneurisms of the jugular vein. Seen sporadicaly in the past, this anomaly has been more commonly reported recently. The various etiological factors of JVF include anatomical anomaly or compression of the vein, superior mediastinal radiation, trauma, idiopatic or congenital structural defects of the vein wall. More frequently seen in children, it may rarely be seen in adults. It is usually seen in right side, but it can be bilateral as in our case.We present an adult patient with bilateral JVF who had predisposing factors and showed aneurismatic expansion in external jugular veins.
